For residents, visitors and tourists, San Juan Bautista offers a meaningful experience in an early California setting. Detached from the pressure of our modern world, the friendly people, slower pace of life, rustic original architecture and exceptional weather combine to lift your spirit.

San Benito Gives

The Holiday Celebration of Lights in San Juan Bautista is a wonderful time-honored tradition which starts by the displaying of the Saints throughout historic downtown. Followed by the hanging of lights around each pole, garland around the adobe wall and the halos on the saints. Central to this celebration is the lighting of the Community Christmas tree.

Last year through your generous giving we were able to update the Community Christmas Tree. This year it is our goal to update the lights on the garland and the around each of the poles throughout the historic district.

We are seeking donations to secure the updated lights and decorations. Any donation received during the San Benito Gives will go directly toward the replacement of outdated lights and will help to ensure our traditions carry on.
